East Suffolk will host the first stage of the 2025 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men race, with the return of the world’s top male cyclists to East Suffolk for a third consecutive year, as Woodbridge and Southwold play host to the stage one start and finish.

The countdown is on for the arrival of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men in East Suffolk on Tuesday 2nd September.

Pedal and Picnic
Sunday 31st August. Kingston Field, Woodbridge. You don’t have to wait until Tuesday for your cycling fix! Join us in Woodbridge for the first East Suffolk Sportive (fully booked) and Pedal and Picnic. A day of fun and bikes for all the family.
An Evening With Ned Boulting
Sunday 31st August. Seckford Theatre, Woodbridge. 6.30pm
Join acclaimed sports broadcaster, author, and cycling enthusiast Ned Boulting and special guests for an engaging evening and raffle in aid of Suffolk Mind.
Ned will explore fascinating intersections of history, sport, and media following on from the East Suffolk Sportive event taking place that morning.
From the dusty roads of the 1923 Tour de France to the high-tech spectacle of today’s races, Ned brings his signature wit and insight to stories that span a century of cycling.
He’ll be joined by special guests for a rich and varied programme celebrating cycling, mental health, and community.
Plus, there will be a raffle benefitting Suffolk Mind with lots of cycling-based prizes.

Tuesday 2nd September. Southwold. Why not bring your bike along to the Southwold finish line for a host of fun activities including bike repair sessions and led rides for all ages. No bike? No problem! Theres lots to do including:
